Africa – Agency for Aerial Navigation Safety in Africa and Madagascar (ASECNA)

WDSS delivered SkyCast systems to five ASECNA airports in west Africa including NDJ, NIM, NKC, BKO, and OUA. Each airport has a radar wind profiler, radiometer, Sodar, and surface station. Wind shear detection and alerting, nowcasting and trending algorithms are provided using the VizAir integration and display system. A  custom display for ATC personnel is also provided.
