Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH)

The SkyCast Wind and Thermodynamic Profiling System (WTPS) delivered to the Abu Dhabi International Airport integrates data from a Radar Wind Profiler (RWP), a Microwave Profiling Radiometer (MPR), and local AWOS data and processes these data through analysis and nowcasting algorithms to provide continuous, real-time thermodynamic and vertical wind profiles, along with automated alerts of the occurrence of vertical shear. Data, products, and alerts are made available through a web-based display called VizAir.
